In 1984, Cardinal O’Connor promised that any woman, from anywhere, of any color, of any religious or any ethnic background, who is pregnant and in need can come to the Archdiocese of New York and be assisted with all that she requires to give life to her child. Cardinal Dolan has reaffirmed this promise many times, and we continue to need your help to keep it!
Walking with Moms in Need is part of a nationwide initiative of the US bishops to support pregnant and parenting women. It is an opportunity to highlight and connect the many ministries in the Archdiocese of New York which assist mothers with our parish communities. Everyone should know how to help moms in difficult circumstances.
