40 Days for Life

40 Days for Life

The Archdiocese of New York is blessed to have several 40 Days for Life campaigns at local abortion clinics throughout the archdiocese.

What is 40 Days for Life?

Prayer is vital in bringing about an end to abortion. With thousands of campaigns happening around the world, people unite in concentrating their prayer and fasting to seek God’s favor to turn hearts and minds from a culture of death to a culture of life, thus bringing an end to abortion. During the 40 days, there is peaceful witness at a local abortion provider. Participants are encouraged to sign up for however much time they can commit to prayerful activism.

Each campaign has a page within the 40 Days for Life website, and the New York Campaigns can be found there as well.

For more information visit 40 Days for Life.

Next Campaign: Feb 22 – Apr 2

Your prayers are needed. Prayerful presence outside of abortion clinics is truly essential. Your prayers offer hope to women in crisis and save the lives of the vulnerable unborn. 40 Days for Life is a life-saving prayer campaign that will take place throughout our Archdiocese starting on February 22 and concluding April 2. 40 Days for Life is a peaceful initiative consisting of 40 days of prayer and fasting, peaceful vigil at abortion facilities, and educational outreach with the goal of protecting mothers and their children from abortion. More than 22,000 unborn children have been saved from abortion during 40 Days for Life campaigns.  To learn more about the 40 Days for Life campaign, visit:  www.40daysforlife.com
