Maternity Homes
Maternity homes are supportive living environments or “homes” for pregnant women that are more or less structured with programs. Pregnant women generally live here (with or without other children) for a specified amount of time.

All placements are made through phone. Each home is structured & long-term. Note: Harrison serves those struggling with Drug & Alcohol Addiction &/or Mental Sufferings.

18 and older. No other children in residence. A Christ-centered supportive residence with a very structured program to help mothers achieve their goals. Residents stay at least 3 months post-partum and may apply to stay longer if the program is working well.

18 and older. No other children in residence. No drug/alcohol abuse or severe mental illness. The home is free up until the baby’s first birthday. Ideal candidates are looking to make a real change in their life and are willing and able to participate in life and parenting skills classes as well as Bible studies.

Other Maternity Homes may be available through placement with the EAU (Emergency Assistance Unit – Family Shelter) – The EAU is the city family intake center that determines the need for shelter and the best course of action and then places women.

AMT Children of Hope Foundation/Safe Haven Program

A Safe Haven is a designated public place, such as a hospital, firehouse,
EMS station or police precinct when a baby can be left, in a safe condition, so that it may be permanently cared for. A Safe Haven will accept an infant from a birth mother, get the infant medical care as needed, and place the infant in the adoption process.
