A Message from the Superintendent of Schools
(January 14, 2014) Although not a high school under archdiocesan control, we unite with our beloved Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the devoted Board of the high school, the students, parents and alumni in mourning the closing of Mother Cabrini High School.
The archdiocese can verify how hard the Sisters and the Board have tried to keep the school open. We worked with them and want to continue doing so, especially by helping the students find a new home in other excellent Catholic high schools.
The entire Catholic community owes Mother Cabrini's Sisters a huge debt of gratitude for their decades of generous service to immigrants and their children and for providing them with a first-class, faith-based education.
