(New York, NY) Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York, will celebrate this year’s Ordination Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Saturday, May 29 at 9AM. Ten men will be ordained to the priesthood at the Mass, six of the ordinandi will be priests for the Archdiocese of New York and four will be priests for the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. The new archdiocesan priests are Fr. Matthew Breslin, Fr. Robert Carolan, Fr. Carmine Caruso, Fr. Steven N. Gonzalez, Fr. Kevin Panameño, and Fr. Wesbee Victor. The new priests for the Franciscan Friars for the Renewal include Fr. Frantisek Marie Chloupek, C.F.R., Fr. Ignatius Pio Mariae Doherty, C.F.R., Fr. Joseph Michael Fino, C.F.R. and Fr. Elijah Marie Perri, C.F.R.

Cardinal Dolan will be the principal celebrant and homilist for the Mass. He will be joined by Bishop James Massa, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Brooklyn and rector of St. Joseph’s Seminary as well as Bishop Edmund Whalen, Auxiliary Bishop of New York and vicar for clergy for the Archdiocese of New York.
