CARDINAL DOLAN TO WELCOME UKRAINIAN ARCHBISHOP TO MASS

Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York, will welcome His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, Major Archbishop of Kyiv-Galych and Primate of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, to the 10:15 a.m. Mass at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral on Sunday, March 10, 2024.  Cardinal Dolan will be the main celebrant of the Mass, and has asked Archbishop Shevchuk to deliver the homily.

Joining Archbishop Shevchuk will be the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Archbishop of Philadelphia, Archbishop Borys Gudziak, along with the Bishop of the Wroclaw-Gdansk Eparchy Volodymyr (Włodzimierz) Juszczak, Apostolic Exarch in Germany and Scandinavia Bohdan Dzyurakh, Bishop of Chernivtsi Eparchy Yosafat Moshchych, Auxiliary Bishop of Kyiv Archeparchy Andriy Khimyak, who will all concelebrate the mass. The Ukrainian bishops have been meeting in New York this week, following visits to Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia.
