From time to time, I will be posting articles that I find of interest. Most will, naturally, have a connection to the Catholic Church, the Archdiocese of New York, or an issue that is currently in the news. However, I hope you don't mind that I may also post articles that have a more personal appeal to me. Please note that posting an article does not mean that I necessarily agree with everything the author has to say, but I do feel that there is something worth considering in the articles

- I will begin this first entry with an insightful article from Monday's New York Post by Rich Lowry on attempts to silence pro-life voices in the wake of the killings at the Colorado Planned Parenthood Center last week.
- Professor Charles Camosy of Fordham has some similar thoughts, published in Wednesday's New York Daily News. Camosy also makes a point that "Pro-life activists should follow the Pope's lead and more consistently apply our principles of nonviolence and concern for the vulnerable."
- Zenit has published an English language translation of the an interview Pope Francis gave to Credere on the upcoming Year of Mercy (which starts this Tuesday, December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception).
