Word of God Sunday

Pope Francis instituted the Sunday of the Word of God, celebrated each year on the Third Sunday in Ordinary Time; this year Sunday, January 22, 2023.  It is an opportunity to consider how we engage with God’s Word.  Pope Francis invited local communities to find ways to “mark this Sunday with a certain solemnity.” See USCCB resources for more information and ideas.
