The Synod: The Room Where it Happened & What Happens Next?

The Catholic Herald Institute presents its inaugural symposium, “The Room Where it Happened”: Unwrapping the Synod & Exploring What is Next on Monday, March 18, 2024 at the Sheen Center for Thought and Culture (18 Bleeker Street).

Event registration will start at 6 PM and the event will begin promptly at 6:30 PM. Click here to RSVP. 

The Panel:

Inés San Martin is an Argentinian journalist who served as Rome Bureau Chief for Crux, traveling to over 30 countries with Pope Francis. Last October, Inés served in the Communications Department of the Synod Office.

Kathryn Jean Lopez is a senior fellow at the National Review Institute, and Religion Editor of National Review.

Rev. Ricardo da Silva S.J. is a Jesuit priest, Associate Editor at America Media, a producer of the weekly podcasts: Inside the Vatican and Preach, as well as an associate pastor of the Church of St. Francis Xavier in New York City.

Moderator:

Michael LaCivita is the Director of Communications for the Catholic Near East Welfare Association Pontifical Mission, and the Lieutenant for the Eastern Lieutenancy Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.
