Revival is in the air! We in the Archdiocese of New York, along with the various Dioceses in the United States, are cooperating with the Holy Spirit in His work to bring people to a greater awareness and intimacy with the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. We believe that an essential part of this mission is to allow the Word of God to transform us. Just as Jesus opened the Scriptures to the disciples on the road to Emmaus, we hope that through an in-depth study of what the Bible says on the Eucharist, eyes may be opened, and Christ may be recognized “in the breaking of the bread” (Luke 24:35)

Our Adult Faith Formation Office will host the New York Catholic Bible Summit on Saturday, June 3, 2023. This event will be centered on the Eucharist in the spirit of the Eucharistic Revival. We are honored to have Dr. Michael Barber from the Augustine Institute as our keynote presenter! Highlights include Mass with His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan, a presentation by Bishop Joseph Espaillat, and Eucharistic Adoration presided by Fr. Kareem Smith. Bailey and Jonna Savoy will lead us in prayerful music, and we are excited to have Sr. Cora from the Sisters of Life serve as the MC of the day.

This will be a great opportunity for parish ministry leaders and also for our friends and family in the pews. Our presentations will be great opportunities to learn more about the Eucharist no matter where you are on your faith journey.
