Father Ed Dougherty grew up in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. He became a Maryknoll mission priest more than 40 years ago, and he has served in the U.S., in Tanzania and in Rome. He is a former Superior General of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers. The 107-year-old Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America, more popularly known as the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, follows Jesus in serving people in need in more than 20 countries. Friday, November 7, 2025Please join us on First Friday, November 7th, for an All-Night Vigil offered in loving prayer and reparation for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. This sacred night is dedicated to interceding for those who have gone before us and are being purified before entering the glory of Heaven.
Schedule of the Evening:
7:00 PM Adoration
8:00 PM – Confessions
9:00 PM – Holy Mass (offered for the Holy Souls)Followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Reflection on the Church’s teaching on Purgatory and the power of intercessory prayer. Continued Eucharistic Adoration throughout the night
