On Saturday, August 17, 2024, the Salesians of Don Bosco will be holding the 2024 Rise Up Festival from 1pm – 10pm (rain or shine). The festival will celebrate the Assumption of the Blessed Mother Mary, with Bishop Edmund Whalen of the Archdiocese of New York. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for an open-air concert, worship (Mass and Adoration), games, exhibitions, food for purchase, and the gift shop. The evening ends with fireworks on the upper field. The Marian Shrine is located at 174 Filors Lane, Stony Point, New York. What Is It?
Department of Youth Faith Formation serves parishes in their faith formation efforts with young people and their families from baptism through 12th grade. To kick off the year with joy and inspiration, this fall we are hosting regional gatherings for parish faith formation leaders involved in these vital parish ministries.
Join leaders from your region for an evening of prayer, an inspirational keynote, updates on events, formation, and programs for the ministerial year, and a delicious meal.
This event is free, RSVP is required 10 days prior to the event date. Register at archny.org/youth-faith-formation.
