    First Friday All-Night Vigil In Honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

    Please join us on Friday, August 1, 2025, for a First Friday All-Night Vigil dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The evening will begin with confessions at 8:00 PM, followed by Holy Mass at 9:00 PM. After Mass, there will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, a reflection on the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and continued Eucharistic Adoration.

    Throughout the night, we will pray Sacred Heart and Precious Blood devotions, special 1st Friday and Saturday prayers and litanies, the Stations of the Cross, Scriptural Rosaries and devotions to the Blessed Mother, sung chaplets, quiet moments of adoration, beautiful hymns, and additional devotions to the saints.

    Free refreshments will be available at Midnight and again at 3:30 AM. The vigil will conclude with Benediction at 4:55 AM, followed by a closing Holy Mass at 5:00 AM.

    We are very happy to announce that in conjunction with the World Jubilee of Young People, the Parish Visitors of Mary Immaculate are hosting a one-day event called “Jubilee Youth Day 2025”, based on the Jubilee theme given by Pope Francis “Pilgrims of Hope” at our Motherhouse (“Marycrest”) in Monroe, New York August 2, 2025.

    “Jubilee Youth Day 2025” is for teens who are interested in deepening their love for Jesus and their Catholic faith. They will share in various events including: catechesis, worship, music and fun.

    The cost of “Jubilee Youth Day 2025″ is $50.00 per participant (youth or adult). All fees are non-refundable. Included in the fee: two meals (lunch and dinner), snacks, T-shirt, religious articles,  and the conference.

    A Guest Choir will be performing at St. Patrick’s Cathedral: “SACRED VOICES” – Choir of the Cardinal Bartolucci Foundation (Rome, Italy), conducted by Adriano Caroletti and accompanied by Vatican Organist Josep Sole Coll, on Tuesday, August 5 at 7:00 p.m.
    Dom Bartolucci was the Music Director of the Sistine Chapel Choir at the Vatican for almost 50 years and this choir continues the repertoire that is sung in Rome. This concert is free and open to the public.

    Join The Community of Sant Egidio USA at The Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary at 325 E 33rd St, New York, NY 10016 will be open to all, including friends, groups, communities, and families, for prayer and hospitality between 8AM and 8 PM from Wednesday, August 6th, 2025 to Friday, August 8, 2025. United with our friends in Nagasaki for 75 consecutive hours we will pray for peace in communion with sisters and brothers around the world, remembering the victims of all current conflicts.     Join the Sheen Center for an Artist’s Reception on Thursday, August 7 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM to help welcome Becoming Becoming, an exhibition of new works by artist Joséphine Dubern on display August 6 – 28 in the Dilenschneider Gallery.

    A Catholic and mother of two, Dubern has created a prolific body of engaging, colorful abstract works that span the time before her becoming a mother through and beyond the birth of her two children.

    For two nights only, Dubern’s work will be accompanied by a special immersive gallery performance created by playwright and performer Karina Majewski that will delve into the twin vocations of artist and mother and how they are embodied by us all. Learn more and purchase tickets.
