Registration for the Winter Session is now OPEN. The six sessions of Fall Training will begin Wednesday evenings from 7 pm-9 pm on Zoom starting January 24th- March 6th, 2024. We will NOT hold a session on February 14th.
The Office for Family Life Ministry offers a Bereavement Ministry Support Training Course at multiple times throughout the year. We will still be offering this class ONLINE and there will be added content related to grieving and grief support during in light of the pandemic. This six-session parish-focused program is designed for those who wish to become facilitators for existing parish bereavement support groups or for those who wish to begin a bereavement support ministry at their parish or online. The course is not limited to those who wish to facilitate a support group, however, it can also benefit those who minister to the bereaved. The program serves to increase enthusiasm and education for this ministry.

FORUM 3: Youth as Witnesses and Testimony

This session will focus on evangelization (sharing the Good News) and expressing our story to bring others to know Jesus. Youth will learn and practice communication skills and how to write and give a testimony of their faith. Youth will work on ways to animate the faith to peers at NYCYD, work with keynote speakers on finalizing key points and messages for their talks, and plan to invite young people to experience NYCYD.
