Church of the Epiphany 375 2nd Ave, New York, NY, United States

Alpha Course at Church of the Epiphany

Alpha Course at Church of the Epiphany

The Church of the Epiphany is offering a new free Alpha Course that begins Thursday January 9th at 7 pm in our parish hall at 22nd and 2nd Avenue in Manhattan. Alpha is a 12 week course that explores your relationship to faith, to Jesus, and to the Catholic Community.

The meeting consists of a delicious home-cooked (by our parishioners) meal, a short video presentation, and a lively conversation about themes featured in the video such as: What is the meaning of life? What am I searching for? Who is Jesus? What is my role in the Church? It is meant to be a very safe environment where everyone is welcome to share their questions and listen to the Spirit speaking through the participants. It includes an awesome overnight retreat in upstate New York, and features good food, warm fellowship, a fun hike, an experience of the Holy Spirit, and an intimate, prayerful Mass.

Epiphany regularly hosts 4 Alpha courses a year, and it has been the engine behind the development of our large young adult community. You are most welcome to come and give it a try, and of course attend each of our sessions.
