The January Engage/Exchange will be focusing on this topic. Engage/Exchange is a monthly online conversation about diverse topics for Faith Formation Leaders working with Children(D/CREs). The greatest lovers in the history of the world were the saints those who sought to love God above everything. For those saints called to marriage it was God’s love that led them to pursue their spouse in a most pure and holy courtship.
Patrick O’Hearn will give a talk based on his book “Courtship of the Saints”. In a world of lust confusion disappointment and broken marriages these saintly couples will inspire you to begin waiting and praying for a virtuous spouse. Still more they offer wisdom and practical advice for those already married. Better than any romance novel these stories will captivate your heart and reveal how the saints loved with passion and joy enduring all trials with peace—for a blessed marriage is the fruit of a holy courtship.

Join the Witness for Life for 8:00 a.m. Mass at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral, followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, silent Adoration, Rosary Procession and a prayer vigil at the nearby Planned Parenthood abortion clinic. At 10:15am, participants return to Church for Benediction, followed by a social. Through our peaceful and prayerful witness, we bring the light of Christ to the modern-day Calvary that is the abortion clinic.
