Join us for our monthly Young Adult Mass Wednesday, November 5 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan! Eucharistic Adoration & Confession will be available from 6:30pm-7:30pm. Holy Mass begins at 7:30pm. Social to follow at Connolly’s Pub and Restaurant, 14 E. 47th Street. Invite a friend!

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that allow you to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share your point of view in a safe and friendly environment.
Sessions include:
Is there more to life than this?
Who is Jesus? Why did he die?
How can we have faith?
Why and how do I read the bible?
What about the church?
How does it work?
Each session includes food, a short video and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts. At any point, if you think Alpha isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. There’s no pressure and no charge.
The course runs for 12 weeks. And there is a wonderful 24 hour offsite retreat that involves a hike, a Mass, delicious dinners, and the visit of the Holy Spirit! Come to the first one and see if it’s for you.
This is a great place to invite a friend who may be curious about your Catholic faith. The Alpha course has proven to be an effective tool for awakening faith in people who are on the fringe of parish life, faithful Catholics and those outside the faith.

Men ages 21-40 join to experience Capuchin fraternity, sharing meals, prayer, contemplation, and learning about the charisms while connecting with God, friars, and other men discerning their vocation.

Father Ed Dougherty grew up in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. He became a Maryknoll mission priest more than 40 years ago, and he has served in the U.S., in Tanzania and in Rome. He is a former Superior General of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers. The 107-year-old Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America, more popularly known as the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, follows Jesus in serving people in need in more than 20 countries. Restoring Identity a Retreat for Young Adults
