Ignite Duchess Young Adult Mass and Social

6:30 PM – 7 PM Confession
7 PM Mass
Join Ignite Young Adults (ages 21 – 35) for Mass at the Church of Holy Trinity (775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603), followed by a social at Zeus Brewery (178 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601).
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that allow you to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share your point of view in a safe and friendly environment.
Sessions include:
Is there more to life than this?
Who is Jesus? Why did he die?
How can we have faith?
Why and how do I read the bible?
What about the church?
How does it work?
Each session includes food, a short video and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts. At any point, if you think Alpha isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. There’s no pressure and no charge.
The course runs for 12 weeks. And there is a wonderful 24 hour offsite retreat that involves a hike, a Mass, delicious dinners, and the visit of the Holy Spirit! Come to the first one and see if it’s for you.
This is a great place to invite a friend who may be curious about your Catholic faith. The Alpha course has proven to be an effective tool for awakening faith in people who are on the fringe of parish life, faithful Catholics and those outside the faith.
Hudson Valley Pilgrimage in Season of Creation
Sunday, September 28, 2025, 1:00PM – 5:00PM EDT
The Center at Mariandale, 299 N Highland Ave., Ossining, New York 10562
Join The Center at Mariandale for a (4) mile hike to enjoy the wonder of God’s creation through the gorgeous Hudson valley. Begin and end at Mariandale, loop down the Aqueduct Trail and back through Crawbuckie Preserve. The walk will include pre-arranged stops for reflection, drawing upon themes from eco-spirituality and Laudato Si. Ethicist and theologian, Dr. Kevin Ahern, will lead the reflections. Join others to hike and discuss topics related to ecological consciousness and citizenship. All will gather at 1pm in Mariandale’s Chapel for reflection on the gift of creation to begin the day. Departure will be by foot from the front entrance at Mariandale.
Each participant will be provided with water and snack to carry on the hike. All will return by 5pm at Mariandale.

Join us for our monthly Young Adult Mass Wednesday, October 1 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan! Eucharistic Adoration & Confession will be available from 6:30pm-7:30pm. Holy Mass begins at 7:30pm. Social to follow at Connolly’s Pub and Restaurant, 14 E. 47th Street. Invite a friend!

Frassati Holy Hour and Dinner
Saturday, October 11 | 7pm to 9pm
Frassati Fellowship invites all young adults to their holy hour and dinner! The night starts at 7pm with a home-cooked meal in the church basement, followed by a Holy Hour with preaching, praise and worship, and Confessions.
