Presidential Election 2024: Is Civil Discourse Possible Now?: Building Bridges in a Fragmented Society

It seems that each political party has felt compelled to declare that if the other wins, democracy itself is at risk. The intensity of the convictions of our citizens speaks to the dramatic polarization we are experiencing as a nation. On Friday, October 25th at Holy Trinity Church (213 W 82nd St., Manhattan) we will sponsor an event titled Presidential Election 2024: Is Civil Discourse Possible Now?: Building Bridges in a Fragmented Society.

This dialogue will be moderated by Stephen Adubato with a panel consisting of Luke Lapean, SJ, Spiritual Care Coordinator for Thrive for Life Prison Project, Ross Barkan, award-winning journalist and New York Times Magazine contributor, and Elvira Parravicini, Director of the Neonatal Comfort Care Program at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.
