Catholic Charities Junior Board will have their annual benefit, Christmas in July, in support of the St. Nicholas Project. Christmas in July will take place on Thursday, July 17th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Ivory Peacock, a cocktail party that features an open bar, DJ, silent auction, and more! All young adults are welcome to join this evening of community as the Junior Board seeks to support the families of St. Nicholas with winter essentials and critical services.
Benedictus Young Adults will have a special presentation and discussion on ‘Living in the Divine Will’ – a journey into deepening your spiritual life and aligning your will with God’s. They will begin with a Holy Hour at 6pm with evening prayer. Then we will begin our presentation in the hall at 7pm. There will be food and refreshments and time for fellowship! The evening will begin with a beginner swing dance lesson followed by a social to show off the new moves you just learned on the dance floor! No partner or former dance experience is necessary. Bring your comfortable shoes and optional food/drinks to share. The event is complimentary but there will be an opportunity to make a donation in gratitude to St. Vincent’s.

Goretti NY: Murderer to Friend: The story of forgiveness and conversion of Alessandro Serenelli

Clarissa is one of the NY Chapter Coordinators of the Goretti Group. She has a special devotion to St. Maria Goretti, and is perpetually awestruck by the story of Maria & her murderer, Alessandro. Their story is a reminder of the power of mercy, forgiveness, and conversion. Mass will be at 5:10pm followed by Holy hour. The talk will begin at 7:00PM.
