The January Engage/Exchange will be focusing on this topic. Engage/Exchange is a monthly online conversation about diverse topics for Faith Formation Leaders working with Children(D/CREs).     CYLA Youth Youth Leader Forums: Youth as Witnesses and Testimony

    FORUM 3: Youth as Witnesses and Testimony
    Date: Sat., January 27, 2024

    This session will focus on evangelization (sharing the Good News) and expressing our story to bring others to know Jesus. Youth will learn and practice communication skills and how to write and give a testimony of their faith. Youth will work on ways to animate the faith to peers at NYCYD, work with keynote speakers on finalizing key points and messages for their talks, and plan to invite young people to experience NYCYD.

    About half the parishes in the archdiocese offer a summer program for young people usually referred to as VBS (Vacation Bible School) or Vacation Bible Camp.
