    Lenten Day of Prayer and Reflection for Liturgical Ministers - The Twofold Imitation of Christ

    Join us for a day of reflection as we unpack the twofold imitation of Christ and how we imitate Him both as adopted sons and daughters of God and also in the various mysteries of His life, especially those celebrated throughout the liturgical year.

    Fr. Peter Martyr Yungwirth OP, our presenter for the day, is pastor of the Parish of St. Vincent Ferrer and St. Catherine of Siena in New York City.

    The day will run from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm | Cost is $40 (plus tax $ fees) and includes a hot lunch buffet.

    Second Annual Archdiocesan Parish Musicians' Breakfast

    All parish musicians are invited to the Second Annual Archdiocesan Musicians Breakfast, to be held on Saturday, October 26, from 9-11am, at Saint Joseph’s Seminary, Yonkers.

    Musicians will have an opportunity to:

    -meet in fellowship with colleagues
    -listen to performances from Saint Joseph’s Seminary schola cantorum and young musicians who study in the archdiocesan Vocalist and Organist Training Programs
    -and honor Kathey Lewis and Barbara Castrataro, who will be the recipients of the St. Gregory the Great Award for Distinguished Service in Sacred Music.

    Musicians, parishioners, friends, family, and all musical enthusiasts are welcome!

    Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Lectors, parish Musicians, and Ushers are invited to join Fr. Ignatius Schweitzer, OP for a day of prayer, reconciliation, and fellowship.

    PRESENTER: FR. IGNATIUS JOHN SCHWEITZER, OP
    Director of Spiritual Formation and Professor of Spiritual Theology, St. Joseph’s Seminary
    Ordained a Dominican priest in 2011 | Currently the Provincial Promoter of the Lay Dominicans

    In these talks, Fr. Schweitzer will explore the spirituality of praying with the Bible by drawing from the saints of all ages.
