He is Coming

A Special Online Event for Religious Sisters and Brothers Presented by the Office of the Vicar for Religious

We think we know them from the Christmas gospels and our Christmas cards, but who really are Mary, Joseph, some night-watching shepherds and a band of star gazers? Their message is still earth-shaking. Let’s listen. Please join us for this FREE event as Sr. Carol Perry, a Scripture Scholar and gifted teacher, discusses Christ’s birth using her imaginative storytelling skills.

Part One: Tuesday, December 6 at 7:00 – 8:00 PM
Part Two: Tuesday, December 13 at 7:00 – 8:00 PM

Registration for this event is at capacity and closed for both December 6th and December 13th.

Carol M. Perry, SU, has spent her life in the field of education, above all in making the Bible and its contents both user-friendly and accessible to adults for their spiritual journey. She has lectured widely and led retreats across the country with an emphasis on the humanity of those whom God calls to his service in surprising ways.

A graduate of Fordham University, Regina Mundi International School of Theology in Rome and St. Mary’s College at Notre Dame, she is a Sister of St. Ursula, a community founded in 1606 for the education of women, a work being pursued today in France, India, Switzerland, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Ivory Coast and South Africa as well as in the United States.
