Sacred Heart, Saratoga, CA invites you to a Zoom presentation by Fr. Bruce Morrill (Vanderbilt) about how the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick provides true healing.

Anointing of the Sick is a misunderstood sacrament, as many Catholics expect miraculous cures or reserve it for their deathbeds.  Fr. Bruce Morrill (Vanderbilt) will address misconceptions, explore Christ’s role as healer, and, by distinguishing between healing and curing, explain how Anointing of the Sick brings meaning, strength, and comfort in illness and old age.

There will be two presentations of the same talk:  1:30 pm -3:00 pm and 7:30-9:00 p.m. EST.  Spanish interpretation will be provided at the 7:30 session.
