Join Ascension Catholic Church in celebrating 130 years of parish history with Evenings of Hope, a speaker series inspired by the Jubilee Year, Pilgrims of Hope.
On Thursday, May 15th at 7:30 PM, Michael Peppard, PhD will speak on “How Catholics Encounter the Bible.”
This event is free and all are welcome to attend. There will be a meet and greet with light refreshments in the rectory dining room following each presentation.
On May 16 the Dominican Healthcare Ministry will host the annual Gianna Mass in St. Catherine’s Church, celebrated this year by Bishop Edmund Whelan. This is a special Mass and reception co-hosted with the Gianna Center, offered for couples suffering infertility or miscarriage. Mass will be followed by the veneration of the relics of St. Gianna, a reception, and the opportunity to meet privately with physicians and practitioners from the Gianna Center who specialize in assisting couples with infertility.
