Approaching the Threshold of Eternity Webinar

    December 2nd

    7:00-8:30pm

Our Catholic faith gives us a beautiful understanding of the inherent dignity of all human life, especially in times of vulnerability. As we and our loved ones approach the end of life or experience times of illness, we want to ensure that we receive the best possible care. In the midst of a crisis, navigating the complex medical and moral issues involved can become overwhelming, so it is good to be prepared for these situations in advance.

Join the Respect Life Office and the Office of Public Policy for this webinar to learn about the spiritual and practical guidance provided by the Church for making decisions to protect ourselves and those we love.

Alpha Course at Church of the Epiphany

Church of the Epiphany 375 2nd Ave, New York, NY, United States

Alpha Course at Church of the Epiphany

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that allow you to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share your point of view in a safe and friendly environment.
    Sessions include:

Is there more to life than this?
Who is Jesus? Why did he die?
    How can we have faith?
Why and how do I read the bible?
    What about the church?
    How does it work?

Each session includes food, a short video and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts. At any point, if you think Alpha isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. There’s no pressure and no charge.

The course runs for 12 weeks. And there is a wonderful 24 hour offsite retreat that involves a hike, a Mass, delicious dinners, and the visit of the Holy Spirit! Come to the first one and see if it’s for you.

This is a great place to invite a friend who may be curious about your Catholic faith. The Alpha course has proven to be an effective tool for awakening faith in people who are on the fringe of parish life, faithful Catholics and those outside the faith.

  • Fides Entrepreneurship with Rob Kaczmark

    Fides Entrepreneurship with Rob Kaczmark

Join us for our monthly Catholic Entrepreneurship Talks where entrepreneurs share how their faith inspired them to start their own business and helped them overcome challenges.

On Thursday, December 11th at 18:45, we’re honored to host Rob Kaczmark, Co-Founder & Executive Director of Spirit Juice Studios, an Emmy Award-winning creative firm dedicated to spreading the Gospel through media.

Rob’s story is one of faith, creativity, and conviction. From his roots in youth ministry and BMX culture (punk rock, tattoos, ect) to building one of the most recognized Catholic media production company in the country, which has worked with Jonathan Roumie, Hallow, Bishop Baron and Mark Wahlberg.

During COVID, when churches were closed, Rob and his team livestreamed daily Masses from their in-office chapel, offering hope to thousands. His short films like The Veil Removed to launching a Catholic kids’ channel on YouTube continue to shape how Catholics experience and share their faith.

“A small little video, a livestream Mass or Divine Mercy hits the right person at the right time… Sometimes even just the appearance of someone on camera praying that looks a little different can bring someone in.”

    Rob will share:

    • How his creative journey led to founding Spirit Juice Studios

    • Why incorporating a chapel into his office and offering mass there changed his company’s culture

    • How media can be used to plant seeds of faith in unexpected places

    • How you can transform how people see going to Mass, especially those who you would not expect to go to mass

    Here’s the evening lineup:

    • 18:45 – Doors Open | Take your seat and prepare for an inspiring evening.

    • 19:00 – Talk Begins | Rob’s story of faith, creativity, and mission.
