Join us to serve the needy through our Street/Outreach Ministry, Senior Ministry, Manual Labor, and Vacation Bible School. Our experience is nurtured by lively celebrations of the Eucharist, where we gather, proclaim, break, and send.

Small group settings offer opportunities for participants to unpack their experiences and comfortably share their triumphs and challenges in the light of the Gospel. Our large group sessions ensure that the groups are connected and constantly growing. Service to those in need enhances people’s sense of purpose and community involvement and fosters their inherent desire to contribute. This is a journey of spiritual formation, service, and community involvement, where youth and campus ministers, parents, teens, laity, friars, and religious accompany and inspire the community as a whole. • Capuchin Appalachian Mission

    Capuchin Appalachian Mission

This summer marks the 32nd Capuchin Appalachian Mission trip to Harlan, KY–a community where 41% of the population lives in poverty. Since our first trip over 30 years ago, teen and adult participants have addressed the urgent needs of thousands living in this area of Appalachia. While the economic situation in Harlan is fragile, the people there are strong, willing, welcoming, and filled with the love of God. Our friends in Harlan each year inspire us to allow the Lord to expand our hearts and generosity. As we launch our 32nd Mission, we increase our commitment to sustainability, serving more people in need and introducing the joy of service to our volunteers. Our Mission offers opportunities to serve local children for a Vacation Bible School and families in need through supply distribution outreach, construction programs to improve living conditions in rural homes and outreach to the elderly & infirm.

  • Inner Healing Retreats – Open House

St. Agnes Church 143 East 43 Street, New York, NY 10017 143 East 43 Street, New York

Inner Healing Retreats - Open House

Join St. Agnes Church in Manhattan for an introduction and brief overview of the Inner Healing Retreat.

This three-day psycho-spiritual journey helps participants explore and address the deep human dilemma: “I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do, I do not do, but what I hate, I do… Who will rescue me?” (Romans 7:15, 24)

The retreat focuses on healing inner wounds that prevent us from experiencing peace, joy, and love—using psychospiritual tools rooted in Catholic faith.

    • Module A: Prepares participants for the healing journey by creating a “holding environment”—an experiential, participatory space—and introducing essential tools.
    • Module B: Offers opportunities to identify developmental wounds and deficits and to heal them using the tools learned. The focus is on healing negative emotions for a God-centered life.
    • Module C: Deepens the healing experience by uncovering limiting beliefs and maladaptive schemas, enabling deeper healing for a Gospel-centered life.
