Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that allow you to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share your point of view in a safe and friendly environment.
    Sessions include:

Is there more to life than this?
Who is Jesus? Why did he die?
    How can we have faith?
Why and how do I read the bible?
    What about the church?
    How does it work?

Each session includes food, a short video and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts. At any point, if you think Alpha isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. There’s no pressure and no charge.

The course runs for 12 weeks. And there is a wonderful 24 hour offsite retreat that involves a hike, a Mass, delicious dinners, and the visit of the Holy Spirit! Come to the first one and see if it’s for you.

This is a great place to invite a friend who may be curious about your Catholic faith. The Alpha course has proven to be an effective tool for awakening faith in people who are on the fringe of parish life, faithful Catholics and those outside the faith.

Women’s Retreat: Word of God Speaks, Come Rest in Him

Women’s Retreat: Word of God Speaks, Come Rest in Him

    February 7, 2026
    8:30 am – 5:00 pm

The pace of life can leave us weary, stretched thin, and longing for a place to breathe. Yet again and again in Scripture, God invites His daughters into His peace: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Mt 11:28). This retreat is an opportunity to respond to that invitation.

Led by the Women of the Waters, the day centers on encountering the tender, life-giving voice of God through prayer, Scripture, quiet reflection, and communal worship. Drawing from the biblical imagery of God as our refuge—“In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and trust shall be your strength” (Is 30:15)—participants will explore how to step away from the demands of daily life and into the stillness where God restores the soul.

This retreat is not simply a pause; it is a deep spiritual replenishing. Guided reflections will lead women to recognize how God speaks comfort, healing, courage, and renewal into every season of life. Through talks, prayer services, and Mass, participants will discover anew the promise of Psalm 62: “My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him.”

Come and enter a sacred space of peace. Allow the Word of God to speak into your heart, calm your spirit, and strengthen you to return to your life grounded, renewed, and held in His love.
