The Congregation for Divine Worship and Discipline of the Sacraments (CDWDS)  has confirmed an English translation of the Order of Celebrating Matrimony, Second Edition.  The USCCB is expected to issue a decree of publication in the coming months, after which the text will be released to multiple publishers.  This revised text corresponds to the prayers and rubrics found in the Roman Missal, Third Edition.  It will also  feature an expanded Introduction, a suggested Prayer of the Faithful, and rites for “Blessing an Engaged Couple” and “Blessing a Married Couple on the Anniversary of Marriage”.

The CDWDS has also confirmed a new English translation of the Order of Confirmation.  This text uses the translation principles set forth in Liturgiam authenticam.  An implementation date has been set for Pentecost Sunday, May 15, 2016.
