Students will learn to recognize that the unity of humanity—in all its diversity—is rooted in our union with God. The Beatitudes show us how to treat one another based on our dignity as human persons.
Students will start to understand the concept of social sin as it relates to injustice in the world. They will celebrate the diversity of God’s family as expressed in liturgical celebrations by various cultures and identify as problematic the failure to represent the diversity of God’s family in the predominant culture
