Walking with Moms in Need

In 1984, Cardinal O’Connor promised that any woman, from any location, of any color, of any religious or any ethnic background, who is pregnant and in need can come to the Archdiocese of New York and be assisted with all that she requires to give life to her child. Cardinal Dolan has reaffirmed this promise many times, and we continue to need your help to keep it!

Walking with Moms in Need is part of a nationwide initiative of the United States’ bishops to support pregnant and parenting women. It is an opportunity to highlight and connect the many ministries in the Archdiocese of New York that assist mothers to our parish communities. Everyone should know how to help moms in difficult circumstances.

Here in the Archdiocese of New York, we want to support our parish communities in the process of participating in Walking with Moms in Need and implementing creative parish responses to meet the needs of local pregnant and parenting mothers.
