The importance of prayer cannot be overestimated as we seek to build and restore a culture of life. 40 Days for Life is a worldwide initiative of prayer and fasting, peaceful vigil at abortion facilities, and educational outreach – with the goal of protecting mothers and their children from abortion. More than 25,000 unborn children have been saved from abortion during 40 Days for Life campaigns.
The Archdiocese of New York hosts several 40 Days for Life campaigns at local abortion clinics. Participants are encouraged to commit to prayerful activism by signing up through the online campaigns, linked below. Your prayerful presence can offer hope to women in crisis and save the lives of the vulnerable unborn.
