“I have made you a light… that you may be an instrument of salvation to the ends of the earth.” Acts 13: 47
As you know, gatherings have changed over the past few months leading us to re-imagine the format of New York Catholic Youth Day 2021. This year’s theme is ‘Be the Light’ (Act 13:47); to capture the elements of the theme, we will be hosting a series of events starting February 28. We are excited to announce our Be the Light season. Click here for details. This is an invitation to our teens to be the light in their homes, communities, schools.
Beginning February 28: Service projects taking place in different communities
Saturday, April 10: Fearless Retreat at Graymoor Retreat Center in collaboration with Camp Veritas
Saturday, May 1: New York Catholic Youth Day, St. Anthony of Padua Church – 832 East 166th St., Bronx, NY 10459
Groups can participate in-person or virtually. We are following all CDC and NYS health and safety guidelines while still delivering the experience that you can expect at NYCYD.
We invite you to join us at New York Catholic Youth Day to explore how God gives hope to our world and to allow ourselves to be an instrument, Christ’s hands and feet in this world. NYCYD 2021 will have live music, talks and testimonies, confession, and end with vespers and Eucharistic Adoration led by Most Reverend Bishop Edmund Whalen.
