The seventh annual New York Catholic Youth Day is taking place on Saturday, October 19 at the Westchester County Center located at 198 Central Avenue in White Plains, New York. Eleven hundred young people ages 13 to 17 will gather for a day of inspiration, fellowship, service, and prayer. Pope Francis has appointed Monsignor Gerardo Colacicco and Monsignor Edmund Whalen to serve as Auxiliary Bishops of the Archdiocese of New York. The appointments were announced by Archbishop Christophe Pierre, the Apostolic Nuncio to the United States.
