1011 First Avenue, 12th Floor | New York, NY 10022
The Archdiocese of New York Office of Youth Ministry supports parish, school and church leaders in their mission to build young disciples of Jesus Christ. We do this through trainings, formation of leaders, networking, support, consultation and events for youth and youth ministers.
Message from the Director of the Office of Youth Ministry
Updated Safe and Sound Guidelines – May 2021
As time progresses, more information will arise and will require new additions to Safe and Sound: Guidelines and
Procedures for Holding On-site Parish Religious Education and Youth Ministry Programs.
These procedures are put into place to help ensure the safety and well-being of the young people and adult leaders.
All procedures are required to be followed if hosting on-site religious education and/or youth ministry.

Update Your Ministry Information with the Office
Are you in charge of ministry to, with, and/or by youth at your parish? Would you please update your information with us so that we have a clear picture of the great work that our parishes are doing to serve the youth of our archdiocese? This information will help us continue to improve the events, trainings, and formation we offer for both the youth and the wonderful adults who serve them.
