Traditionally before Easter Break, the Kennedy Catholic community gathers together for the Living Stations of the Cross as performed by members of the student body. While always poignant and timely, this year the school opted to go a different route. Back in the fall, Nicole Bauso ’08 came up with an idea for a student presentation. Enlisting the help of several teachers and six other seniors, Bauso choreographed a rendition of a skit based on the lyrics of the song “Everything,” by Lifehouse. The skit traces the relationship a teenage girl, played by Bauso, has with God and the temptations she encounters along the way. Stephen Murray ’08, Greggory Cotarelo ’08, Arianna Feliciano ’08, Christina Ruperto ’08 and Danielle Kloster ’08 portrayed the sins of lust, greed, gluttony and pride, while Erich Staib ’08 starred as Jesus. The skit produced such a strong reaction within the student body, that it is only fair we share it with the rest of the Kennedy Catholic family. As the song’s lyrics suggest, “How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you.”
Please watch and be moved by our own Kennedy Catholic students.
