Description/Details: Can people dare to believe that God loves them unconditionally, that God always is present and that God has a great plan no matter the challenges? Throughout Karen Newman’s struggles to overcome two life-threatening diseases while simultaneously rising to the top in international triathlon competition, God provided her with new insights and new stories to share that highlight the need to trust, believe, lean in and awaken to the still small whispers from God.
Karen Newman will speak about “Dare To Believe” on Sunday, April 2, at 2:30 p.m. as part of the spring edition of the Maryknoll Speakers Series. Her mission is to inspire others to find opportunity through their own trials, and to help people realize that they are loved, worthy, vital and never too far away or too broken to be healed. Her real-life stories give others hope and free them from the bondage of shame, secrets and addictions.
The presentation will be held at the Maryknoll Society Center at 55 Ryder Road in Ossining. Presented by the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, the series is free and open to the public. Reservations are requested and can be made by email (
MaryknollSpeakersSeries@maryknoll.org), or by calling 914-941-7636 extension 2445.
