Come together again in a writing community. A weekend of discussion and workshops. Does writing nurture your creativity? Does nature nurture your creativity? Does a supportive community nurture your creativity?

This writing retreat welcomes all writers, including bloggers, poets, nonfiction and fiction writers and memoirists. It is open to people who simply need space and quiet to focus on their work.

Each morning, you’ll participate in a creative writing workshop with writing prompts and guidance. Afternoons are yours to read or relax or keep writing. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the gorgeous surroundings before reuniting with the group for dinner. In the evenings you’ll reconvene with the group for readings, writing discussions including writing techniques, essential tools needed for understanding how the publishing world works, the role of writing in one’s life, and motivation.

Weather permitting people can meet before breakfast and watch the morning light rise over the grounds, or in the evening watch as the sun sets over the beautiful Hudson River. Great people, great food, and plenty of time for instruction, inspiration and creation.
