Looking for an Advent experience to prepare for Christmas?  Sacred Heart, Saratoga, CA invites you to a Zoom presentation by Fr. Brian Johnstone (Catholic U. of America) about the nature of gifts—both God’s and ours.

To give a good gift for Christmas we need to choose the right gift and give it in the right way and at the right time. The good gift that God gives us is the person of Jesus himself.  In light of the Incarnation and using the thought of Catholic philosopher Jean-Luc Marion, Fr. Johnstone will show how God invites you to give the gift of yourself in your generous giving of gifts to others.

There will be two presentations of the same talk:  1:30 a.m.-3:00 noon and 7:30-9:00 p.m. EST.  Spanish interpretation will be provided at the 7:30 session.  The Zoom presentation is free, but registration is required.  Registration and videos of past speakers can be found at parish.sacredheartsaratoga.org/faith-formation-speaker-series/.
