Sacred Heart, Saratoga, CA invites you to a Zoom presentation by Sr. Sandra M. Schneiders entitled:

Did Jesus Really Rise from the Dead?: The Bodily Resurrection of Jesus as Salvific Revelation for Today’s Believers.

The New Testament is adamant that Jesus rose bodily from the dead, but many Christians find this hard to accept. Sr. Sandra M. Schneiders (Jesuit School of Theology) will address the problem for contemporary Christians: in light of what we know about the finality of death, is there any way modern believers can understand the Church’s claim that Jesus, in the full integrity of his humanity, rose bodily from the dead and is personally and actively present to us today?

There will be two presentations of the same talk:  1:30 pm -3:00 pm and 7:30-9:00 p.m. EST.  Spanish interpretation will be provided at the 7:30 session.
