With the successful overturn of Roe v Wade, the 50-year goal of the March for Life, the end-point of this year’s March will no longer be the steps of the Supreme Court, but to the new front in our battle for life, the steps of the United States Capitol!  This year, we will celebrate and give thanks for the gift of the Dobbs v Jackson decision. Nevertheless, although this decision permits more effective lobbying on the state level, the battle on the federal level continues to intensify as bills are proposed that could either expand or restrict abortion nationally.  

 The National March for Life is much more than a political rally. It has become a pivotal event each year that inspires, encourages, and unifies a grassroots movement across the USA and reverberates throughout the world. Now more than ever it is important for our Church to gather to pray and witness together in our nation’s capital in response to this critical threat to the dignity of the human person that continues to divide our country. Far more essential than changing laws is changing hearts!
