Charity Has No Boundaries was a project run by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York to allow everyone, regardless of location or religion, an opportunity to welcome Pope Francis to New York City and the United States.
In honor of Pope Francis' visit, Catholic Charities provided a platform for everyone, regardless of place of origin or religion, to welcome him and share a message of charity. Short videos, photos and text welcome messages were submitted and posted online, in addition to a collection that was shared with Pope Francis during his visit to New York City.
From the 19th-century forward Catholic Charities has lived this message of boundless charity, serving the poor, orphaned children, the homeless and countless immigrants of different faiths from many countries.
Today, Catholic Charities provides a vast array of human services to Non-Catholics and Catholics alike: protecting and nurturing children and youth, feeding the hungry and sheltering the homeless, strengthening families and resolving crises, supporting the emotionally and physically challenged, and welcoming and integrating immigrants and refugees. Its charitable work touches almost every human need and strives to have no boundaries.
