FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 14, 2014

Timothy Cardinal Dolan will host a breakfast meeting of religious leaders on Monday, September 15, 2014, as a follow-up to the August 20 meeting with Mayor de Blasio and Police Commissioner Bratton. The meeting will take place in the Cardinal’s residence, 452 Madison Avenue (corner of 50th Street), New York.

At the August 20 meeting, the religious leaders expressed a desire to respond to Mayor de Blasio’s belief that faith groups play an important role in improving the quality of life in New York City, by finding ways that they can work together on critical issues. Monday’s meeting will be an opportunity to form a strategy of how best to accomplish this goal.

There will be a brief press availability in the residence with Cardinal Dolan and the other religious leaders at the conclusion of the breakfast at 8:30 a.m.
