Development Associate
Primary Responsibility: The Development Associate will assist the Associate Director with seamless implementation of the School Advisory Board Program, Page Turners and the Capital Improvements Committee in participating schools.
Direct Supervisor: Associate Director of Partnership for Quality Education d/b/a/ Champions for Quality Education
Responsibilities: Assist the Associate Director with managing all operations of the department, as well as assisting in the creation and implementation of department policies and procedures
Administration:
Support Associate Director with ongoing assistance for all elements of the School Advisory Board and Capital Improvements Committee programs
Plan and participate in project meetings and individual meetings with members of the various projects
Work with Associate Director on program implementation with major gift schools
Assist Associate Director on select major gifts school-specific projects
Schedule/coordinate meetings
Prepare correspondence and maintain current records/files; hard and soft copy
Develop and prepare materials, reports and presentations for both internal and external meetings attended by the Associate Director
Planning and implementation of events and special projects as needed

Detail oriented with an ability to work independently in carrying out multiple and diverse tasks concurrently
Ability to relate effectively with senior management, with peers and others
Discretion when dealing with confidential and/or sensitive information
ossess initiative to constantly seek ways to improve department results
Ability to work with interns, volunteers and as a team member
Desired Skills:
Bachelor Degree
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
Basic working knowledge of Blackbaud (Raiser’s Edge) a plus
Comfort with social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
