OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE MASS WILL BE CELEBRATED ON DECEMBER 12 AT ST. PATRICK’S CATHEDRAL
(New York, NY) The Mass in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 4pm. The Mass coincides with the third Sunday of Advent and will be celebrated by Bishop Ramon Castro Castro, Bishop of Cuernavaca.
This year, the Episcopal Conference of Mexico is sending Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York and the Archdiocese of New York a very special gift of two images depicting Our Lady of Guadalupe and Saint Juan Diego. These images have been traveling from Mexico to New York since November 29, 2021, with stops at various churches along the way in honor of the upcoming Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The journey started with a Mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico on November 29 and a dedication of the images. A complete schedule is hereby attached.
Immediately following the 4pm Mass on December 12 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the images will make their way to Staten Island as part of a 12-month journey throughout the ten counties of the Archdiocese of New York for those unable to travel to the cathedral.
Our Lady of Guadalupe is the patron Saint of Mexico and the patroness of the Americas.

MISA DE NUESTRA SEÑORA DE GUADALUPE SE CELEBRARÁ EL 12 DE DICIEMBRE EN LA CATEDRAL DE SAN PATRICIO
(Nueva York, NY) La Misa en honor a Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe se celebrará en la Catedral de San Patricio el domingo 12 de diciembre de 2021 a las 4pm. La misa coincide con el tercer domingo de Adviento y será celebrada por el Obispo Ramón Castro Castro, Obispo de Cuernavaca.
Este año, la Conferencia Episcopal de México le envía al Cardenal Dolan, Arzobispo de Nueva York y la Arquidiócesis de Nueva York, un obsequio muy especial de dos imágenes que representan a Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe y San Juan Diego. Estas imágenes han viajado desde México a Nueva York desde el 29 de noviembre de 2021, con paradas en varias iglesias a lo largo del camino en honor a la próxima Fiesta de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. El viaje comenzó con una misa en la Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en México el 29 de noviembre y una dedicación de las imágenes. Se adjunta un calendario completo.
Inmediatamente después de la misa de las 4 pm el 12 de diciembre en la Catedral de San Patricio, las imágenes se dirigirán a Staten Island como parte de un viaje de 12 meses a través de los diez condados de la Arquidiócesis de Nueva York para aquellos que no puedan viajar a la catedral.
Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe es la patrona de México y la patrona de las Américas.
