CARDINAL DOLAN VISITS WITH IMMIGRANT CHILDREN; SAYS MASS

Timothy Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York, today visited unaccompanied immigrant youth who are being cared for at Lincoln Hall, a Catholic Charities facility in Northern Westchester.  The Cardinal celebrated Mass with them, and then spoke with the young people, and the staff, after the Mass.

During the Mass, the Cardinal addressed the young immigrants in Spanish, saying,

which means,

"I am happy to be able to be here with you at Mass this Sunday.
I love you. I know that you feel sad because you are far away from your families and friends and wish to have a new home here.
You should always feel that you have a home in the Church.  You will always have a family here with God, our Father, Jesus our Brother and Savior, with Mary our mother and the Church our home."

The Cardinal has posted a blog post about his experience, which can be found here: www.cardinaldolan.org.
