KATERI RESIDENCE’S SPIRIT OF THE CITY RECEPTION AND AWARDS CEREMONY

On Tuesday, October 5, 2010, ArchCare at Kateri Residence will hold the Spirit of the City Cocktail Reception at Charlie Palmer’s Métrazur Restaurant in Grand Central Terminal. Archbishop Timothy Dolan is the Honorary Chairman and will recite the Invocation during the awards ceremony.

New York City Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly, a native West Sider, will receive the Spirit of the City Lifetime Achievement Award for his years of dedicated service to the people of New York. Commissioner Kelly and his Police Department have played key roles in the ongoing renaissance of Kateri’s Upper West Side community.  We will also be recognizing Sally Goodgold, an activist and board member for many civic and urban causes in New York City, with our Community Service Award. Mrs. Goodgold is a past member of Kateri’s local New York City Community Board and has long been a tireless advocate for the residents of Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
Amanda Drury, Anchor, CNBC, will be the Master of Ceremonies.

Kateri Residence is a 520-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility serving the elderly and disabled for nearly three decades. This event is Kateri’s most important fundraiser of the year to support programs that improve the quality-of-life for those served.

Tickets are $325. Please call Lisa Orriola at (646) 505-3524 for further information.
