Details: This event is being held in commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the passing of Fernando Rielo, founder of the Idente Missionaries. Rev. David Murray, M.Id, will give a presentation on Rielo's metaphysical model as a dynamic conception of personal and interpersonal growth, and Dr. Mar Alvarez, M.Id, will speak on psychoethics as a new paradigm for mental health, at the Edward Cardinal Egan Catholic Center at New York University, 238 Thompson St. in Manhattan, on November 7 at 6:30 p.m. A reception will follow the discussion. Since this is by invitation only given space limitation, please send us a line indicating your intention to attend. Fernando Rielo founded the Idente Missionaries in Spain in 1959. He died in New York City on December 6, 2004. The institute was elevated to Pontifical Right by Pope Benedict XVI in July, 2009. The Idente Missionaries administer Our Lady of Solace-St. Dominic and Santa Maria Parishes in the Bronx, Our Lady of Loretto Parish in Hempstead, and St. Luke's Parish in Brentwood, as well as taking care of campus ministry at Polytechnic University and Nassau Community College, and directing the UTPL-NY, Inc., a cultural center for immigrants in Queens.
